Commissions

I appreciate your interest in having me draw or paint a portrait for you or to give as a gift. I refer to your recent or older photos, perhaps one of a loved one who has passed. I can work from HiRes photos or we can arrange a photo sitting at your home or choice of location. If you are going to provide photos, I would have you create an album at Google Photos, and then give me access to that album.

We’ll discuss the subject’s personality, favorite color(s), and characteristics you are hoping I’ll be able to capture. We’ll also discuss the time frame. I usually need a week or two to complete single subject portraits.

My single subject portraits are 16″ x 20″ framed. The actual drawing size is about 11” x 15“. This is a head and shoulders portrait which may include hands. The medium is pencil and white acrylic paint on acid free mat board. Multiple subject portraits will be larger.

The fee for this style of portrait is $600 per subject including mat and frame..

Full Color ACRYLIC PORTRAITS

My single subject portraits are 16″ x 20″ framed. The actual size is about 11” x 15“. This is a head and shoulders portrait which may include hands or paws depending on the subject. The medium is acrylic paint on acid free mat board. Multiple subject portraits will be larger.

The fee for this style of portrait is $900 per subject including mat and frame. 

Watercolor or Acrylic PAINTing

I call these home portraits. Capturing the family home in watercolor. The home you raise your children in will always have a special spot in their hearts. 

Watercolors would be on Arches watercolor paper and the size of the painting will help determine the price. The watercolor painting shown here is 28" x 14" and would be priced at $2000 including mat and frame. Smaller paintings would cost less. Feel free to contact me for a quote.

Wire Sculpture

Wire sculpture has been a passion of mine for nearly 50 years. This particular sculpture stands about 30" tall and weighs about 70 pounds. I have done them as small as 9" and as large as 78" tall.

The size and material help determine the price. The one shown here is steel baling wire mounted to a granite base and is priced at $2800. The same horse in copper would be $3800. A 12" tall horse in steel on a wooden base would be $650.

A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to begin your project with the balance due upon completion. Cash, Checks, Credit Card, and PayPal are accepted. Insured Shipping can be arranged for an addition fee.
